Yes I know its been months since my last post . But hey..what can you do about it? :)

Not much happened since my last post, but here is a recap of what did happen.

> Got ADSL installed at home(THanks to raisx's help). Now I dont have to stay at work for my broadband fix.

> My sister is pregnant again. So I guess that will make me Uncle G to the second power. :)

> Joined an online community at www.there.com. Its a fun place to be. Joined up so that I could spend some virtual time with Monica and Eric in Miami. We sit and chat and go hoverboarding and other stuff. Check out the pic below of a shot of me in "There".

> Ate too much desert on Christmas day (8 different kinds) and suffered an intense case of "ethnic fatigue" which prevented me from going to my buddy's 30th (sorry bro just couldnt make it).

Vacation was cool but too short. Did some surfing, went in "de land" in 4x4's, and did a whole lot of nuffin.

Back to the grind now. :(

Matrix Revolutions starts next week. Thinking bout tekking the day off and arriving at Sheraton at 6:00 am to make sure that I get my tickets.

Well, I'm off on two weeks vacation from today. I will be at a beach house down Cattlewash so the possibility of internet access is slim. So check you guys and gals laterz! :)

Yesterday was soooooo hot. Went down to Soup Bowl cuz I heard there was a swell. Got down there to find crowded small surf but went out anyway. Info here.

Went to watch Once Upon A Time In Mexico yesterday as well (surf and a movie, oh what a hectic weekend I had :) ). It won the prize for most stylized uneccesary violence in a summer flick for 2003. Complete review here.

Yet another dawn patrol at the Soup Bowl this morning. Waves were firing across the reef at ludicris speed. Swell seems to have gotten bigger. Will probably head back down for an evening sesh. Reports on yesterday's and todays sessions can be found here.

Not much else to report. Pattern for the last four days has been get up at 4:30 am to go surf, goto work, then go home and sleep to get up at 4:30 am again. Been awhile since I have gotten this level of exercise and its starting to take its toll. Getting too old for this stuff :).

Hurricane Isabella continues to crank out the swell. Dont know how many more mornings I can get up at 4:30 am for the dawn patrol but yuh gotta get the waves when they are here. Barbados been going thru a wave drought for awhile and these swellls are a welcome blessing.

Today is the anniversary of the Sept 11th attacks. My prayers are for those that lost loved ones on that tragic day.

Dawn Patrol at the Bowl again this morning. Caught first wave at 5:30. Had a good session, small ish waves packing a punch and swinging north. Didnt have to swim shore this time. Check details of session here .

Well the Zanzers met at Olympus tonight and as usually the majority of peeps were late. Half way thru the movie the screen flipped upside down and the video and audio started playing backwards...freaky! The cancelled the show and gave everyone passes. Then there was an impromtu lime outside Olympus till everyone got tired and went home.

Dawn patrol at Soup Bowl this morning. Caught my first wave at 6:00 am. Not a bad session, short and sweet (except for the swim to shore after my leash cord broke). Details of the session here. Possible dawn patrol tommorrow morning as well.

Tommorrow the Zanzers meet to watch League Of Extrodinary Gentlemen at Olympus. We are aiming for the show that starts after 6:00 pm (to facilitate those of us who work). Check for the review tommorrow.

There was a Zhaust.com meet on Sunday. I missed it due to being exceedingly tired from my travel problems. Apparently the guys and gals had a good time, including Panda (as you can see in the pic below.

Big category 4 hurricane name Fabian is slow moving its way across that Atlantic. Heard rumours of glassy head high Soup Bowl today. Maybe a dawn patrol tommorrow.

Worst travel eperience of my life.
August 30th 4:20 pm. Arrive at airport in Trinidad to check in for my flight which is supposed to leave at 6:25 pm. Stand in line for 2 hrs to check in only to find out flight is delayed until 9:00 pm. Goto get something to eat only find out that everyone got a food voucher from the airline for the delay except me. Eat then clear secutiy and goto gate around 8:00. Finally board the plane at about 10:30 pm. Captain then informs us that the crew is past its legal maximum continous flying time and we will have to disemabark. Get off plane and wait in airport for 30 mins until we are informed that transport to the hotel is available downstair and to clear security and customs . Stand inline for 30 mins to clear security, grab essentials from suitcase, head outside to wait for transport. Stand around waiting for 30 mins for transport. Get to hotel and check in around 1:00 AM August 31st. No food/coffee/tea/anything offered. Shower and sleep.

August 31st 5:30 am. Wake up and shower, dress, checkout and get in transport to airport. Arrive at airport and stand inline for 1 hr 30 mins to check back in. Get voucher for breakfast this time. Get on plane at 8:15 am. Arrive Barbados at 9:15 am, only to find out that luggage still in Trinidad. Wait around for 30 mins for next flight from Trinidad to arrive. Grab bag and bail.

Sucess. Got POS terminal for new store setup and functioning. Had a $10TT ($1.30US) chinese food down in Chaguanas and it pull loud. Veg fry rice, stir fry veg, noodles, and chinese fry chicken. Nuff too.

Head back home tommorrow. Gonna pass thru the hobby shop here in Trinidad to see if they have the Yokohama Advan tyres for my RC car.

Business trip to Trinidad today. Flight was delayed. Immigration took forever. Customs went ok. Got to Automotive Art Trinidad around 9:30 pm. Changed out the RAM on the server. That went good. Then started to troubleshoot a cabling problem. Narrowed it down to the switch. Rebooted the switch and voila... problem solved....God is good! :)

Had some KFC from the Trinidad airport. Went straight thru me...note to self " dont eat KFC from airport" :(

Got paid yesterday. Got my income tax return as well. I was "in they money" for about 30 mins. Then I went a paid down a chunk on my Credit Card bill. :(

Went to watch Bad Boys 2 last night. Was OK. You can check my review Here .

Rain fell all yesterday and now the water is off. Go figure.

Still have not been paid yet. Down to last $10. Things not looking good.

On another note when will email users learn that they CANNOT click on every email attachment that they receive? How many viruses do they have to infect their systems and help spread before the get a bloody clue? This just further supports my theory that people should have to get a license to operate a computer just like a car. Maybe that would decrease the number of nitwits that click open every email attachment they receive.

First Regional race meet in awhile was held at Bushy Park raceway today. Teams from Guyana and Trinidad took on the Bajans.
Most hotly contested group was Group 3B, which were the "big power" cars. Lots of action as you can see from the pic below.

Created my blog today. Am almost broke and payday is too far away.
Off to church for the Youth Depts talent night. Just spectating this time :).
